Google My Business Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist analyzes, reviews and implements
changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This means
maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines. It is the
job of the SEO specialist to make your website stand at the top of the search engine
results. An SEO Specialist will analyze websites for improvements, have an in-depth
knowledge of keyword research, understand SEO copywriting and serve as a liaison
between various departments.
• Implement optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including SEO audits to
identify technical issues, keyword research and mapping, metadata development, onpage
and website development revisions based on performance targets and client
objectives
• Improve overall Local Search traffic and volume of campaigns through best practice
SEO
• Optimize Copy and Landing Pages’ Heading, Title and Image Tags, as well as Meta
Descriptions
• Write powerful Call To Action scripts
• Identify additional website opportunities such as recommending additional content or
UI and interlinking suggestions
• Assist account managers with client communications around organic search
knowledge and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to
each client
• Collaborate with content team and other subject matter experts as necessary to
provide best in class strategies for SEO-driven content deliverables including but not
limited to, comprehensive guides, shareable assets, core pages, blogs (new and
refreshed), etc.
• Review and analyze client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
• Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
• Write powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
• Develop link building strategies
• Analyze keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
• Keep updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within
search engine guidelines
• Compile and present SEO guidelines
• Run PPC campaigns
• Fill websites and other content with effective keywords
• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
• Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine
rankings

• Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO
• Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO
campaigns
• Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
• Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
• Experience with big management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search
Ignite)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
• Experience with website optimization tools
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
